Vena Genuchi Alesio, President
Biographical SketchVena Genuchi Alesio earned a Ph.D. from Texas Tech University, where she studied philosophy and fine arts. A former college professor and administrator, Vena entered the business sector to pursue a career in human resource and management development consulting, where she has helped clients identify talented individuals within their organization and effectively invest in them through relationship building and strength management. Serving as both teacher and analyst, she trains managers in how to help staff reach their potential for excellence, and works with executive teams to maximize their effectiveness in leading their companies. During prior employment with an international human resource consulting firm, Vena had the opportunity to work with corporations such as the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Estée Lauder, MGM Mirage, Inc., Autostadt, Mariposa Bread Company, Kisco Senior Living, and Caddie Master Enterprises. Currently, as President of Alesio & Associates, LLC, she consults with organizations representing hospitality, sales and marketing, telecommunications, agriculture and the United States military.
The study of women’s issues has been a topic of special interest to Vena, and she served on the Board of Directors for the American Association for Women in Community Colleges from 1997-2001. Her work with AAWCC has given her opportunities to speak nationally on issues affecting women, including mentoring programs, non-traditional employment opportunities, women re-entering the workforce, and women as effective leaders.

William S. Glover, Chairman
Biographical SketchPrior to being named Chairman of the Board for Alesio & Associates, Bill Glover contributed thirty-one years of government service, the last nine as the Assistant Deputy Comptroller for the Omaha South Field Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. In this position, he was responsible for the regulatory oversight of over forty national banks and a crew of twenty National Bank Examiners.
A Viet Nam veteran, Bill served in the United States Navy for four years, beginning in late 1968, following his graduation from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After receiving an honorable discharge, he continued a career with the Comptroller of the Currency that began prior to his induction into the military.
Bill interrupted his government service in 1977, when he became Controller and Chief Financial Officer for Central Exploration Corporation in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He rejoined the Comptroller’s office in 1985 and served until 1995 as the Field Manager of the Wichita, Kansas Duty Station. In 1995, Bill accepted the position as head of training for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and was stationed in Washington, D.C. until 1997. In this position, he was responsible for the training curriculum of the entire examination staff of over 1,800 people and supervised a team of instructional systems designers and course administrators. While in Washington, D.C., Bill received a National Performance Review award from Vice-President Al Gore for his work in streamlining government by developing new bank examination procedures.
In 1997, Bill returned to his home state of Nebraska to head an examination team with offices in both Omaha and Grand Island, retiring in January, 2007. He lives in Lincoln with his wife Marsha, where they enjoy taking part in the activities of their two sons and a granddaughter.
In addition to his work with Alesio & Associates, Bill was a member of the Board of Directors of Central Exploration Corporation and has worked with numerous boards in his role as a bank regulator. Throughout his career, particularly during the agricultural crisis of the 1980s, Bill has provided guidance to the boards of banks in need of strategic direction. As a result, Bill was the 1992 recipient of the Managerial Excellence Award “in recognition of outstanding performance in managerial and leadership roles for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.”
